Jesus - The Light of the World
Wishing all my readers and listeners peace, love & joy this Christmas season!
Merry Christmas!
Thank you for reading and following me here on the Narrow Gate.
I appreciate you. :)
Christmas is a joy for us believers, isn’t it?
I’ve always enjoyed something about Christmas. Even with the ups and downs that come with life, when we draw near to Christmas day and get to reflect on the mysterious and magnificent birth of Our Lord and Saviour, everything else seems to fade into the distance.
I love sitting in a church on Christmas Day celebrating the coming of the Light of Christ.
Emmanuel! God with us.
He is the Light of Life and In Him there is no darkness (John 8:12).
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.
Looking ahead
With 2024 just around the corner, maybe you could find some time after Christmas to think about what’s ahead for you in the coming year.
Below is an article I wrote that will guide you on how to unlock your vision.
We need a vision for our lives as it gives us hope. The Bible says, without vision, the people perish.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”
- Proverbs 29:18
Thank you for your time.
May you have a peaceful Christmas.
Love & blessings!
